African Development Aid Association (ADAA) is an indigenous non governmental organization founded in 1988. It secured legal registration with the Ministry of Justice since 14 July 1992. ADAA has signed operational agreement with Federal DPPC and working agreements with Oromia Regional Food Security and Disaster Prevention and Preparedness Commission. ADAA is one of the signatories of the NGOs National Code of Conduct.

ADAA is a founding member of the CRDA and member of Poverty Action Network in Ethiopia(PANE), Consortium of Reproductive Health Association(CORHA), Sustainable Land Use forum(SLUF),Basic Education Association in Ethiopia(BEA-E). ADAA is partner of different organizations and Embassies such as; Pathfinder International, Sida/SLUF, Pact Ethiopia, SCF/USA, Winrock International, TROCAIRE /CAFOD , ICCO,Kinderpostzegeles, German Development Organization(DED), Norwegian Church Aid(NCA), Dan Church Aid(DCA), Belgium Technical Cooperation and French Embassy are among the major partners.
